Delivery Policy

Orders Monday - Friday:

Orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. New Zealand time,  to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. If your order is to be delivered to either Omokoroa or Katikati, see the note below.

Orders Saturday:

Orders must be received before 10:00 a.m. New Zealand time, to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day business day.

Orders Sunday and Public Holidays:

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays and Public Holidays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
These cut off times do not apply to busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas. Please check with us for the order cut off times for these days.

While we try to deliver your order at the requested time, it is not possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved. There are often local reasons why an order cannot be delivered within your preferred time frame (for example, courier delivery times). If the flowers are for a timed event (for example, a funeral or business location), we will do our best to assist, however, we strongly recommends that you provide us with an alternative address so the flowers can be delivered elsewhere if too late for the timed event.

A local delivery fee is added to each order, for each address. Bayfair Florist will try our best to ensure your flowers are delivered on time to the right location. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses, secured buildings or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We do not deliver to PO BOX or LOCKED BAG addresses.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer same day delivery or deliver to some locations due to their remoteness. Some deliveries may be required to be collected from the nearest Tauranga depo, if this is the case the recipient will be notified.

Omokoroa and Katikati Deliveries:

For same day deliveries in Katikati and Omokoroa, orders need to be placed before 12.00pm Mondays to Fridays. No deliveries are made to Katikati and Omokoroa on Saturdays.

Tauranga Rural Areas:

Please Note - We only deliver to Tauranga Rural areas south of Tauranga other than Omokoroa and Katikati Townships.

Currency Disclaimer

All products are priced in New Zealand dollars NZD ($). All our prices include the New Zealand 'Goods & Services Tax' (G.S.T.)

Substitution Policy

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers we purchase from our suppliers. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and colour scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays such as Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. In single-flower bouquets and arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another colour.

Refund Policy

We always ensure to deliver fresh flowers however if you are unhappy please, report to us within 24 hours of delivery.

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase or if the goods were damaged after delivery by our Flower Courier.

This privacy statement has been created in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting customer privacy.

Information We Collect

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction.

When you visit our website, we also collect some basic information that does not identify individual users. We use this information to determine our user’s demographics, so that we can better understand and serve our customers.

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
All user credit card information is securely communicated using secure socket layer (SSL) software, which is the industry standard and among the best software available for secure commerce transactions. Our on-line payments are processed through eWay here in New Zealand and Australia. As at October 2015, eWay had 25% of the local New Zealand online market and was trading in 8 countries. eWAY’s Client Side Encryption lets customers make secure online purchases without ever leaving our website. eWay guarantee's you our customer a fast, efficient and safe checkout experience with Client Side Encryption.

No customer information is stored on our web server. Customer account information such as the customer's name, address, , email address etc.  is stored in an encrypted format on our on-line shop hosting supplier Ecwid, who use HTTPS for data sent over 128 bit SSL Encrypted connection. Ecwid stores our customer information on secure Amazon Web Services and as at October 2015, they hosted 800,000 on-line businesses globally. Notwithstanding these efforts, we caution you that perfect security does not exist on the Internet.
